The following is a powerful Raksha Stotra of Lord Shiva that can be used by all fellow devotees to protect one's family from evil entities, disease, accidents, poverty and misfortunes. Asya sri shiva raksha stotra mantrasya
yagna valkya rishihi
shri sadashivo devatha anushtupp chandaha
shri sada shiva preethyartham shiva raksha stotra jape viniyoga
Charitham deva devasya, maha devasya paavanam,
aparam paramodhaaram, chathur vargasya sadhanam.
Gowri vinayakopetham, pancha vakthram trinethrakam,
shivam dyathwa dasa bhujam shiva rakshaam paden nara .
Gangadhara sira pathu, phalam ardendu shekara,
nayane madana dwamsi, karnow sarpa vibhooshana.
Granam pathu purar aathi, mukham pathu jagath pathi,
jihwam vaggeswara pathu, kandharam shiva kandhara.
Sri kanda pathu may kandam, skandhow vishwa durandhara,
bhujow bhoo bhara samhartha, karow pathu pinaka dhrukh.
Hridayam shankara pathu, jataram girija pathi,
naabhim mruthyunjaya pathu, katim vyagra jinambara.
Sakthinee pathu deenartha, saranagatha vathsala,
ooru maheshwara pathu, janunee jagad eashwara.
Jange pathu jagath kartha, gulphow pathu ganathipa,
charanow karunya sindho, sarvangaani sada shiva.
Yetham shiva balo petham, raksham ya sukruthee padeth,
sa bhukthwa sakalaan kaamaan, shiva sayujyamapnuyath,
graha bhootha pishachadhya, trilokyepi charanthi ye,
dhoorad aasu palayanthe shiva namabhi rakshanath.
Abhayam kara namedham kavacham parvathi pathe,
bhakthya bibarthee ya kande, thasya vasyam jagat thrayam,
imam narayana swapne shiva raksham yadha disath,
prathar uthaya yogeendro, yagna valya sthadha likath.

Thanks for sharing this but there are a few typographic errors in the Stotra. It would be better to give the original Sanskrit Text and a phonetic rendering of the same in English letters.

ReplyDeleteI humbly second the opinion of Shri S.V.Swamy here. Please add the original Sanskrit texts as typo can lead to wrong pronunciation and thereby can change the entire meaning. Thanks for the wonderful work.
