About Us

Om

Hinduism is a boon given by God to us. The Hindu community unfortunately lacks unity today and is in a state of chaos. The essence of Hinduism has long been lost from India. The sanctity of the Hindu way of life has been manipulated and exploited by various people having self-interests. I started this blog as a humble attempt to bring all followers of Hinduism together for the unity and development of the Hindu community.

Through this blog i wish to present : -
  • mantras
  • slokas
  • details about hindu rituals
  • information about temples
  • rare tidbits
  • legends & folktales
  • articles
and much more content related to Hinduism.

The basis for the setting up of this blog is :-

  • to unite all forms of Hinduism & bring harmony to the community
  • to spread awareness about true Hinduism
  • to make the world realize and accept the greatness of this ancient way of life
  • to let people recognize that we are all children of the same same god
  • to hope mankind realizes that only love and peace can take us closer to God

and all these goals can only be achieved with your cooperation.

I wish to have full support from every Hindu in any way possible. We have guest post options where anyone can write articles relevant to the Hindu community. I hope to engage old and young people alike in this process.

  1. ‘Vedas’ is the expression and the foundation of ‘Sanatana Dharma’ widely known as ‘Hinduism’. The expression from God, of God, is also God. How could that then be seen as a ‘boon’ to 'man', when in reality there are NO ‘two’? If God does not accept ‘non-duality’, how can man? This is unfortunately the tragedy arising from attempting to describe ‘Hinduism’ similar to man-made-religions albeit with a claim that they are the ONLY divinely bestowed truth and directly from God! I trust that you would see the contradiction here!

What we refer to as the religion – or a way of life if one would like to say so – ‘Hinduism’ is codified by ‘man’ for his fellow men as help towards realising his/her SELF, which is nothing different from God in essence (but ONLY after relaisation does that knowledge arise - 'sarvam karmaakhilam paartha gnyane parisamapyathe' Bagvat Gita).

The ‘descriptions’ of boons and curses are all for people just to get initiated into the path of self-realisation. Nothing more, nothing less!

    Cheers.
    Hope this helps.

  2. I agree 'Anonymous'. As you rightly said, God and the Vedas are almost synonymous. Since the description was meant for common people, i presumed the explanation with considering it as a boon and a way of life would be more easy for a wider audience to understand. It is only through a proper initiation into self-realization that one can comprehend such concepts from the true essence of 'Sanatana Dharma'. Thank you so much for your addition, it was really helpful. Hope to have more suggestions and comments from you all. Om

    1. Jai Shri Ram...
Even I love to call myself a 'Sanatan Dharmi' as this is our name and 'Hindu' term has been given by invaders only.
You have a great site...please tell the masses they are not 'Hindus'(I accept it looks like a man-made religion)but belong to the oldest 'Sanatan Dharma' which literally means belonging of saints or a dharma which benefits 'Satogun'.

  6. Thank you very much Padmaja for your comment...i too wish we can go into the depths of Hinduism and implement atleast a fraction of it in everyone's life...the revival of Hinduism is not an option, but rather a necessity to help mankind survive and progress in harmony...it is upto the present generations to ensure that the priceless knowledge in our scriptures is understood and preserved for a better tomorrow...

I wish we have the continuous support from people like you...God bless you...Om

  7. A Very good website. I was looking for one like this. Getting so many rare manthras in one place is great. Two things are to be taken care. 1 - whether the manthras spelled correctly. 2. No posting with any kind of aversion or hatred towards other religion and any sector should be allowed. I request all to pour with more informations. V.R.P.Rao

  8. Thank you so much Mr.V.P.R.Rao (Sri Varahi Dasan)...i too fully agree with the two points you have mentioned above...i am trying my best to provide the correct pronunciation through english now so that youngsters living abroad can also follow them...i am trying to provide the mantras in different languages, but it will take some time, and i require help from all fellow Hindu brothers and sisters in this matter...

i hope to have the support of dear people like you always...may god bless you...Om

  12. Good beginning. A history of religion and hinduism followed by current status vis-a-vis national policy can be helpful in deciding the future course of action. KVSH Rao

  13. namaste,

Interesting view and I do like your site. My own site is in Dutch and English and now I think how people can convert to HInduism or Vedical Dharm. I want to ask you to publish something about conversion to HInduism. I myself did not learned anything about HINduism or religion ever since I grew up in Surinam. Later on I went to Holland to study and after a lot of racism and discrimination I converted to my root faith, Hinduism and now I am a Hindu fundamentalist. I do think that our Hindu and Vedical Dharm is superior to any other white men's faith like islam, judaism or christianity. We must fight the white men with our Holy books and teach him who is the highest race on this world. White christian men are brutal racistsa and they killed and exploited hundred of millions non whites. NOw we must wake up and teach these bastards a lesson.

    Jai Jai Hindu India

hindu fundamentalist (HIndu race, dynamic pigmentation and definitely non white)

    site: Critical Podium Dewanand

    ps
In Holland it is a curse and a punishment to be not white, so I so sorry to speak so rough, but my life is filled with a lot of pains, because I was not born as a white man. Thousands blacks and Hindus commit suicide each year because of racism and discrimination in Holland and the rest of the white men's world.

    2. Dear Dewanand

I am an Indian born South African Hindu female. I have experienced racism and sexism and all sorts of critism...But I also experience many wonderful cultures and religions.

Who betrayed India when it was invaded?
It was her own people for wealth and power!!!

When Indians were taken as slaves to South Africa under the term "INDENTURED LABOURERS" they were betrayed by their own kind.

We are all humans with blood running through our veins and our body is only the vessel carrying our souls. We should respect and love all religions, races and sexes, etc as we are all Gods Creation. God did not segregate us...man himself did this due to his lust and greed for power.

We as Hindus have the choice to worship god in many ways and their many forms through satsangs / mantras / meditation etc...Likewise people have the choice of religion. Who are we to judge and criticise. Does God do this?

If we can not humble ourselves and love each other we are doomed as a Human Race!!!

Every religion emphasises GOD and GOODNESS!!!!

MOST IMPORTANT is that we Acknowledge GOODNESS and Worship GOD!!!

I do hope this changes your view.

  17. I totally agree with you the Hindu Religion is being divided by the Politicians who see only self interest. There is utter chaos all around and more trying times around the corner.
You are doing a good job by spreading awareness.

  21. This blog is an extremely positive step towards a very noble but a neglected objective. If one is born as a Hindu, then, to my mind, it is the duty/ 'dharma' of the individual to fully understand, respect and contribute to the faith. At thought level, there are mantras, yagnas, prayers etc and at karmic level one of the things we can do is to reach out and help our Hindu brothers and sisters in any way we can.
